It's amazing how something can take root and flourish with the smallest of seeds. Terry, the owner of the Tote Yourself! brand, hadn't been looking to start her own company. But after a handful of comments from her daughter's friends and family, that's exactly what happened.

A few Christmases ago, Terry's daughter Jenn requested that her mom make her two handmade bags like the ones her mother had made herself twenty years ago - and was still using. When Jenn showed off her bags to friends and family, they noted the exceptional workmanship and cute style. "Why aren't you selling those?" they asked Terry.

Looking for a way to make extra money, Terry took their words to heart. Soon she was contemplating product designs and mulling over business logistics. Jenn, with her marketing experience, hopped on board to create the brand around the business.

The brand's mission? To give women a line of bags that reflect their individual personality, are designed practically, and are durable enough to withstand everyday use.

We greatly enjoy creating and offering the Tote Yourself! products, and hope to continue doing so for many years to come.

Terry (Owner, Purse-Maker)

Terry has worked as a retail manager for the past twenty years. She holds a Bachelors degree in Home Economics Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Terry has always had a talent for sewing and embroidery, which she finds very relaxing. She has three daughters and currently resides in Irwin, PA.

Jenn (Marketing Consultant, Webmaster/Graphic Designer)

Jenn is Terry's eldest daughter. She holds both an Associates and Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from Fairmont State University and is the brand's graphic designer and webmaster.
